🚢 Gulangyu Cruise 6 Days 5 Nights Hong Kong - Okinawa Naha Travelogue Sharing

Just finished a 6-day, 5-night cruise from Hong Kong to Naha, Okinawa, this cruise allows you to stay overnight in Naha and has more ample shore travel time compared to other cruises, which is quite recommended!

🗓 Itinerary
• DAY 1|Afternoon departure from Hong Kong
• DAY 2|Sea Cruise
• DAY 3|Arrive in Naha, Okinawa at 2.30pm
• DAY 4|Leave Naha, Okinawa at 11:30 p.m
• DAY 5|Sea Cruise
• DAY 6|Return to Hong Kong at 1:30 noon

🌟Overall feeling

Clean and comfortable, cost-effective, and full of activities, whether the elderly, children, or those who like static or dynamic activities, they are sure to find something to do.

🧳 Essential before departure
• Passport (minimum valid for more than 6 months)
• Ticket printout

🚪 Room facilities

Because it was a temporary summer vacation trip, there was no balcony room when I booked the room, so I finally chose a double room with sea view.
The sea view room has a view of the endless sea, which is actually the best value for money.
• In-room amenities: dresser, sofa, two single beds (comfortable bedding, children will not fall off the bed if they sleep on their own), small TV, electric kettle, hairdryer, small refrigerator (no cooling grid), conversion head.
• Wardrobe: Three-door design with built-in hangers and drawers for ample storage.
• Toilet: Relatively small, no disposable toothbrush toothpaste and slippers, bring your own. The toilet can only throw the toilet paper provided on the boat. Don't throw it away. You will be fined💰.
• Cleaning: Someone sweeps and changes towels bath towels daily. Two bottles of drinking water are given on the first day of boarding, which will not be replenished after that. You can bring your own water bottle to the buffet on the 12th floor to fill up hot/ice water.
• Air conditioning: Cool enough to dry your clothes overnight after washing, but remember to bring your own drying rack 😉.

🎭 Onboard entertainment

The facilities on board are quite complete:
• Cinemas, libraries, cabarets, performing arts halls
• Gym, sauna, spa, pool
• Children’s play center, basketball court, table tennis table

With a different schedule each day, you can schedule your activities following the daily newspaper, or choose to simply lay flat on the deck and listen to the sound of the waves.

⚕️ Seasickness & Medical

Although the boat was not too big, the sailing was stable and even with strong winds it was just a little swaying without any discomfort. The entire family did not take seasickness medicine.
• There is a medical room on the 4th floor with medical staff
• Free seasickness medicine
• Charges apply for other visits
