Showa-Style Japanese Diner with High-Quality Cuisine Recommendations

A few days ago, I visited Tai Po during my holiday and dined at the Showa-style Japanese-Western restaurant "喫茶ちょうぼ" in Tai Po Mega Mall. The restaurant's decor is inspired by the Showa era 🇯🇵, and the food is of exceptional quality 😍.

🍛 Japanese Curry Beef Rib Udon (with Shaved Chocolate 🍫)
The curry udon was delicious, with rich and flavorful beef ribs. The staff even shaved chocolate 🍫 onto the dish on the spot, and surprisingly, the combination of chocolate and udon worked perfectly.

🐥 Scallion and Cilantro Karaage Fried Chicken
Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and infused with the aroma of Japanese spices 🥰.

🥑 Wakaba Fragrant Avocado Omurice
The staff helped cut open the omelet and poured sauce over it. The egg was incredibly smooth and silky 😍. The rice was mixed with vegetables and seasoned with Japanese flavors, paired with healthy avocado—absolutely delicious.
