Woosung Street Temporary Cooked Food Hawker Bazaar, Hong Kong ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

If you're looking for authentic local food without the fancy restaurants, Woosung Street Temporary Cooked Food Hawker Bazaar is a must-visit. ๐Ÿ™๏ธ

This circular building is home to a variety of stalls, and it's been open since 1984 (yes, it's very old!). It was recently renovated in late March 2021, and the atmosphere still retains a rich, traditional Hong Kong feel. ๐Ÿ˜‹

From morning to afternoon, there's fast food and cha chaan teng (milk tea) to energize you. Sweet tooths and cafe lovers alike will love this. Then, in the evening, the sound of hot woks and stir-fried seafood is wafting through the air, with a mouthwatering aroma. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Recommended dishes include the salt and pepper fried squid, which is crunchy and tangy, and the steamed shrimp with rice noodles and garlic โ€“ perfectly spicy. And with a cool drink to cool off in the evening, don't miss the fried tofu stir-fry. Their tofu is incredibly delicious! ๐Ÿป

If you have time... I recommend coming in the evening to explore the many restaurants and choosing a place with a lot of customers, as that usually means it's really delicious and well-liked by the locals. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Eat your fill, soak up the atmosphere, and then return to your accommodation with a full stomach and wonderful memories. ๐ŸŒƒ
