Bai Juyi's Thatched Cottage is located in Huajing Park in Lushan Scenic Area, Jiangxi Province. A " Bai Juyi Thatched Cottage Exhibition Room " was built in the park in 1988. In 1996 , a stone statue of Bai Juyi, created by renowned sculptor Wang Keqing, stands by the lake. The words "Huajing" (meaning " flowering ") are inscribed on a horizontal stone in the Huajing Pavilion , and are said to be written in Bai Juyi's own hand.
Information, pictures, calligraphy and paintings about Bai Juyi are displayed in the Thatched Cottage, and a statue of Bai Juyi is erected in front of the Cottage, which enriches the content of Huajing Park and increases future generations' understanding of Bai Juyi's three-year life in exile in Jiujiang and Lushan, and better expresses and conveys future generations' remembrance and nostalgia for this great poet.
Bai Juyi's famous poem " Peach Blossoms in Dalin Temple " : "The flowers of April on earth are gone, and the peach blossoms in the mountain temple are in full bloom. I long for spring and cannot find it, I didn't know it turned into this place." was written here.
