Hong Kong also has a Geopark. If you're traveling from Sai Kung to the Geopark, I recommend visiting the Volcano Discovery Centre. Located in Sai Kung Waterfront Park on Wai Man Road in Sai Kung, New Territories, next to the Sai Kung Bus Terminus, the Volcano Discovery Centre is free to visit. Inside, you can see a full-scale model of a hexagonal rock column and rock specimens collected from Hong Kong and around the world. They also feature information about Hong Kong's ancient volcanoes and how they shaped the city's landscape over the past 100 million years, along with other fascinating geological information.
