Located in a peaceful stretch of Niigata known for its cluster of wineries, Cave D’Occi Winery offers a lovely experience even outside of grape-harvesting season. Though we missed the vineyards in full bloom — the vines were bare during our visit — the serene surroundings and beautifully designed estate still made it worth the trip.

We dined at the on-site restaurant and café, which turned out to be the highlight of our visit. The food was crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients and every dish we tried was well-balanced and full of flavor. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, making the whole experience feel elevated yet relaxed.
