This teppanyaki restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui is bustling even during lunch hours. We tried two set menus: 'Taki' and 'En'.
'Taki'
Appetizer, seasonal sashimi (4 types), wild South African abalone, wild giant tiger prawn, premium U.S. beef, teppanyaki fried rice, kelp miso soup, stir-fried vegetables.
'En'
Appetizer, sashimi (2 types), daily special sushi (2 types), pan-seared foie gras with homemade sauce, wild giant tiger prawn, premium U.S. beef, stir-fried vegetables.
First, the koya tofu with clear soup was soft and tasty ๐. The seasonal sashimi included yellowtail, salmon, and sea bream, all thickly sliced and rich in flavor. The daily sushi was also very fresh.
Next came the teppanyaki. The wild South African abalone was lively and had a chewy texture, needing only minimal seasoning to taste amazing. The wild giant tiger prawn was huge, with an abundance of flavorful prawn roe and sweet, firm meat.
The pan-seared foie gras with homemade sauce was irresistibly tempting ๐. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with the rich aroma of foie gras ๐. The premium U.S. beef, cooked medium, had a crispy exterior and was incredibly indulgent when paired with fried garlic slices. Finally, the meal was rounded off with kelp miso soup, stir-fried vegetables, and fried rice.
