Disney Hotel Stay Edition - Easy Travel, Complete Guide

6:00 AM - Depart from the hotel. Take the MTR (Orange Line) to Sunny Bay Station. Then, transfer to the Disneyland Resort Line (Pink Line) to go directly to Disneyland.

7:00 AM - Take the shuttle bus from the park (free all day) to check in at the hotel. We stayed at Disneyland Resort Explorer Lodge. This hotel has a jungle theme. We booked a room for 4 people for 7,655 THB. We arrived early and wanted to leave our luggage, but... The hotel staff told me that for just an additional 350 HKD, I'd get instant check-in and an upgrade to a sea view room. The room included a discount voucher, so don't forget to use it for shopping at shops and restaurants. This is a special privilege for hotel guests: there's a skip-the-line lane. Just show your keycard and you're good to go.

8:30 AM - We now follow the entrance, so anyone allergic to cigarettes should wear a mask. The entrance leads to a statue of Mickey playing on a whale. This isn't the ticket scanning area. There are plenty of smoking areas along this path, so you might have to walk a bit quickly. Once you've scanned your ticket, you're in the park.

The first stop is the Main Stage, with shops and restaurants lining both sides of the road, decorated in adorable ways. This is where I spent my money. All the attractions in this zone have character encounters and a parade, creating a lively atmosphere. Before we head straight to the castle, where everyone must take photos.

And then we head to the rides I planned for Min. I circled to the right, where I found Tomorrow Land, and then continued on until I circled back to the other side. The queues weren't long, so I was able to visit all of them. There was still time to grab a bite to eat before heading to the next attraction. Fireworks show in front of the castle at 8:30 PM. Relaxing!

🎢 Hong Kong Disneyland Zones + Attractions Summary

❄️ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝘇𝗲𝗻: Disneyland's Disneyland themed zone. This one was my favorite. It was really well done. I loved the entrance. Super cool decor, a 1-minute roller coaster (named so quickly!), and a city atmosphere reminiscent of the movie Arendelle, right down to the frozen mountain.

👧🏻 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: Classic family-friendly rides for young children, such as 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, and 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗵 Carousel, Teacups

🚀 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: Futuristic Zone There are cutting-edge rides like the 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻. This one is so awesome, it's mind-blowing, but my son loves it. And the 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗽: 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 makes me dizzy, but the hallways are like a movie theater, so it's a fun place to wander.

🦖𝗧𝗼𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱: The toy zone from 𝗧𝗼𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. There's a 𝗥𝗖 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿 (𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻) machine. It's spinning around, and there's nothing on this machine.

🐒𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁: The Mysterious House Zone With the Monkey Monkey ride, you can see the monkeys walking along the queue, enjoying the pictures along the way. It's so much fun, and the air conditioning is so cool.

🐻 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗹𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗰𝗵: An adventure zone with rocky terrain resembling a mine that's been bombed. There's also a roller coaster, the Bumblebee Monster. 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘀 where you spin around twice.

🐊 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: Adventure Zone. There's a 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 ride. The line was incredibly long, with two lines, one in English and one in Chinese. Boarding the boat, there's an exciting commentary. The boat driver is a viral sensation.

🎠 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝗨.𝗦.𝗔.: This area is a street leading directly to the castle, highlighting the atmosphere of shops and restaurants. There are parades and mini shows throughout the day.

🏰 Fireworks show at Disneyland Park in front of the castle at 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM, depending on the day. Check the app for the fireworks. The fireworks are amazing! They last about 20 minutes, so it's so satisfying and heartwarming.

💕 The advantage of staying at a Disney hotel is that after the fireworks, we don't have to wait in long lines to take the MRT, taxi, or bus. We can take the shuttle bus back to the hotel and relax. And what's so lovely is that the month we visited was the birthday of our youngest daughter, Anna. I went back into the room and saw a cake made from soft fabric and a card from Mickey and Minnie. It was so cute and I was really impressed.
