Arima Teppanyaki Oysters

Arima Japanese Cuisine is one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in the area. Previously located in Causeway Bay, it has been at CITIC Tower in Admiralty for some time now. The wooden door engraved with the Arima sign maintains its usual understated style.
This time, I tried the teppanyaki oyster lunch. Each oyster was plump and juicy, paired with bacon and sautéed with garlic and scallions. The moment you bite into it, the juices burst out, and the fresh taste of the oyster combined with the slightly salty aroma of the bacon lingers in your mouth. The sukiyaki beef pot was equally outstanding and delicious.
The restaurant exudes a traditional, homely Japanese dining atmosphere, and the 180-degree sea view is also quite pleasing. Prices are on the higher side, but an occasional visit feels worth it.
