Visit Zhuangyuan Rock for its scenic beauty and cultural significance. You can hike to the top of the rock for panoramic views of the surrounding area. The site is known for its historical importance and offers a peaceful escape in nature.

Zhuangyuan Rock is located in the northern suburbs of Taining City, 12 kilometers from Taining County. After rafting on Shangqing Creek and disembarking from the lower dock, it's a short walk to the Zhuangyuan Rock Scenic Area. The area boasts lush forests and an elegant environment. This pristine secondary forest boasts a forest coverage rate of over 95%, making it a "natural oxygen bar." Perhaps due to the spiritual energy of this sacred Danxia site, some tropical rainforest plants thrive here.
Climbing the steps, I was greeted by cliffs and lush forests of unusual trees, a typical Danxia landform. The climb continued steeply, with dangerous peaks, gorges, sheer cliffs, and natural caves everywhere. Despite the breathtaking beauty of the scenery, I had no time to admire it. I simply panted and persevered, climbing step by step. When I finally came down from the summit and looked back, I realized I had traversed a very treacherous path.
On the mountain lies Zou Yinglong's study, a long, curved cave with red rock walls. Legend has it that as a young man, Zou Yinglong, seeking refuge from the hustle and bustle of the world, hand-carved a thousand stone steps to this spot and immersed himself in study. Today, the rock wall bears the vibrant inscription "Zhuangyuanyan" and a bust of Zou Yinglong.
