First experience on the Gulangyu Cruise in October

I'm already missing the days at sea~ 🌥️

Before boarding, I was actually quite nervous, worried about whether it would be boring or if I would get seasick on the cruise. But it turned out to be completely beyond my expectations! The Gulangyu Cruise was bigger and more beautiful than I imagined, with surprises on every deck.

The atmosphere during boarding was lively, and the staff were very friendly. They helped us check in and handle our luggage in an organized manner. After boarding, we went to our room to drop off our luggage. The room was clean and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a sea view 🌅. Sitting on the balcony at night, listening to the sound of the waves, was so soothing.

There were so many facilities on the ship that I couldn't try them all! During the day, you could take a dip in the pool on the deck 🏊 or cycle at the fitness center 💪. For lunch, the "Lido Buffet" offered a wide variety of delicious food, including spicy hot pot, pizza, and crayfish 🦞. For a more romantic experience, you could book the starlit hot pot, enjoying a meal under the sea breeze and starlight, which felt so special 💫.

At night, my favorite activities were watching performances at the Star Sea Theater and the Piano Island Auditorium 🎭. Each show was so captivating that I completely lost track of time. Afterwards, you could head to the bar for a drink 🍸, enjoy the sea breeze, and listen to music—truly one of life's great pleasures.

The people on the ship were so nice! Passengers greeted each other, and the staff were always smiling. Once, at the restaurant, a foreign waiter kindly took a group photo for us 📸. Unfortunately, I didn't ask him for the photo right away, and now I can't find it, which has become a small regret.

But perhaps that's what travel is all about—leaving some things unfinished makes the memories even more unforgettable ❤️. The journey on the Gulangyu Cruise was not just about having fun for me; it was an experience of "slowing down." Watching the horizon and listening to the waves calmed my entire being 🌊.

I will definitely board the Gulangyu Cruise again next time to continue enjoying the tranquility and freedom of the sea~ 🌤️
