Introducing Puji Temple

Puji Temple, built in 1897 with donations from believers, is located outside the South Gate of Xining. The temple is small, facing south and containing a main hall and several monks' quarters. The temple originally housed a statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, later a statue of Guanyin. In the early 1920s, the Eighteen Arhats from Yinxin Temple were relocated here.
