Although it is not possible to travel to Japan yet, fortunately there are still many authentic Guojianglong restaurants in Hong Kong. Kyoto Katsugyu is one of them♥
It is known as the number one fried steak restaurant in Kansai, Japan, and it lives up to its reputation. I have visited it many times before, but this is my first time visiting the new store in Tsuen Wan Plaza.

𓎩 Original steak fried skewers
The steak is thinly wrapped in fried flour without being heavy, and the sauce is flavorful and thin, so the overall taste is relatively light, which is just right as an appetizer.

𓎩 Homemade pork dumplings
Personal recommendation. The dumpling skin is thin and crispy, filled with juicy fillings, it's really a thin skin and delicious fillings!

𓎩 Kyoto Katsu Beef Double Flavor Set Meal
A must-order dish every time I come. The beef is deep fried at 180 degrees for 60 seconds until it is crispy on the outside and medium-rare on the inside. For those who like their food cooked a little better, you can ask the store to get an iron plate to heat it yourself. But I personally think this is the best taste, the beef melts in your mouth and is very delicious.

The set meal includes two types of beef, the fillet beef is tender and the fat is evenly distributed. The wing plate beef has a stronger beef flavor and a more substantial taste.
The store also provides nine seasonings: green mustard, curry sauce, seven-flavor spicy sauce, signature steak sauce, bamboo charcoal salt, truffle salt, sansho salt, etc., so that customers can try different flavor combinations. Personally, I recommend bonito, tuna, and rose salt, which can best bring out the beef flavor!

If you want to choose something other than beef, this dish is a must. The prawns are crispy and the batter is not too thick, and the shrimp meat is refreshing and chewy. Rice is best served with scrambled eggs and onion sauce. Each set meal comes with barley rice, vegetable salad and miso soup, and you can add unlimited toppings, making it great value for money.

When you come to the new store in Tsuen Wan, you must order the exclusive ice cream taiyaki.
"Dream Matcha" and "Honeycomb Crispy" both have ingredients such as taiyaki, bracken cakes, corn flakes, etc., with rich taste and first-class check-in!
The Taiyaki is filled with red bean paste and baked hot and crispy. Paired with ice cream, the combination of cold and hot hits the taste buds. For ice cream, I highly recommend the Japanese sake tofu ice cream. It has a strong aroma of sake at first, followed by a light tofu flavor. It is very special and delicious.

This high-quality meal for two includes so many dishes and desserts, and the price per person is only about $360. It's great to eat well and be able to check in, which is really great!
