The hiking trail from Mui Wo to Discovery Bay is not difficult, with the highest point being around 260 metres.

After getting off the boat in Mui Wo, walk past the dai pai dongs for a few minutes, then turn right and pass Silver Mine Bay. After passing Silver Mine Bay, follow the signposts towards Discovery Bay and go up the mountain. The slope is generally not very steep and it is a well-maintained stone staircase. Looking back halfway, you can see that Silver Mine Bay is as beautiful as a crescent moon, and opposite is the endless ocean, blue sky and white clouds. Together with the scenery of Silver Mine Bay, it is truly a piece of art.

Go down the mountain on the other side, passing the cross and Kagura-in Temple on the side of the road. Many years ago, Kagurain was a "cross milk" factory that raised many cows and produced fresh milk using primitive methods. The current factory has been relocated to the mainland and no longer operates on Lantau Island.

Then continue down the mountain along the road, and when you reach an intersection, leave the road and continue. After a while, walking along the coast, the residential buildings of Discovery Bay gradually came into view. Under the sunshine, the surroundings of Discovery Bay are extremely beautiful.
