Waikiki is fun just to walk around.

I went to Hawaii for the first time after the May holidays.
I've traveled alone many times, but I was a bit worried about going to Hawaii alone.

It turned out to be needless worry.

I climbed Diamond Head and joined tours, but I enjoyed myself freely alone.

The reason I wanted to go to Hawaii in the first place was because of the dramas 'FIVE-O' and 'MAGNUM P.I' that I started watching during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I fully enjoyed visiting places related to the dramas, in other words, a pilgrimage to the sacred sites.

Just walking around, I came across filming locations, and even when I took the trolley, the driver would talk to me. At Kualoa Ranch, I got to see autographs and filming sets, which was very exciting.

I had so much fun just walking and walking.

In Hawaii, having a beach nearby is a given, it's integrated into daily life, it's laid-back, and I felt very relaxed.

I highly recommend solo travel to Hawaii.
