
The Zhuojiang Scenic Area in Yichun, Jiangxi Province, is located in Sanyang Town, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, 18 kilometers from downtown. It is divided into five major scenic areas: White Dragon Cave, Zhuojiang Cave, Water Base, Stone Forest, and Orchard. Each area has its own unique characteristics, both independently developed and complementing the others. These areas represent the most typical karst landforms, forming a rare karst landscape.
"Zhuojiang River Landscape Painting, Karst Cave Natural Poetry"—this is the inscription penned by Zhang Huaxun, a National First-Class Director, during the filming of "Waiting for the Return" at Zhuojiang Scenic Area in Yichun, Jiangxi Province. Zhang Huaxun, a former co-director of Cui Wei's masterpiece "Little Soldier Zhang Ga," has directed films like "The Mysterious Buddha" and "Wulin Zhi," as well as TV series like "Sisters" and "The Romance of Sui and Tang Dynasties," and has successfully produced renowned actors like Liu Xiaoqing and Gai Lili. Zu Shaoxian, a renowned painter, calligrapher, National First-Class Artist, and member of the China Film Foundation's Board of Directors, also penned the inscription for "Zhuojiang Scenic Area."
"White Dragon Cave" is a limestone cave wonder discovered in Sanyang, Yichun, which is more than 100 million years old. It is one of the flagship attractions of the Zhuojiang Scenic Area in Jiangxi Province and also one of the longest and most distinctive attractions. It was named "White Dragon Cave" because of the legend that "Little White Dragon", the son of the East China Sea Dragon King, once lived in the cave.
