Family Trip: Relaxing in a Clean and Serene Style in Hua Hin

A family trip ✈️ to unwind in the backyard of Thailand. My first impression of this city was its reputation as Thailand's backyard, but upon arrival, it felt more like a peaceful seaside town. This time, Lulu and I stayed at Dusit Thani Hua Hin, a local Thai hotel brand.

This article focuses on the hotel's restaurants:

🌳Nomada
Photos 1️⃣-4️⃣: A seaside restaurant at the hotel. Despite the name Dusit Thani Hua Hin, the hotel is actually located in Cha-Am, known as "Qi Yan" in Chinese. It’s about a 20-30 minute drive from Hua Hin city, offering a quieter atmosphere. The hotel provides a 💰500🐷 voucher for check-in, which can be used at this restaurant for two people, covering food and drinks. The total cost is approximately 💰1,000-2,000🐷.

🪵Benjarong
Photo 5️⃣: A Thai restaurant located behind the swimming pool. It doesn’t have a sea view and isn’t open daily. Operating hours are 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with prices similar to Nomada.

🍹Sala Thip Poolside Terrace
A casual poolside restaurant serving burgers and other dishes. Prices here are lower than the other two restaurants. I didn’t take any photos 📷. The restaurant has limited seating by the pool, but you can order food to be delivered to your poolside chair. There’s a wide selection of drinks available.

🍽️The Restaurant
Photos 8️⃣-1️⃣7️⃣: The hotel’s breakfast venue, spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. Chinese breakfast options are available, and the food is delicious.

🌵San Marco
Photo 7️⃣: This Italian restaurant is rarely open during the day and operates only in the evenings 🇮🇹.

🫖Dusit Gourmet & Lobby Lounge
Both are located in the hotel lobby. From photo 6️⃣, you can access these areas. The lobby bar and dessert shop are elegantly decorated.

Additionally, there’s the Dusit Club Lounge.

Other Notes:
If you choose this hotel, it’s recommended not to leave the premises.

The hotel is about one kilometer from the main entrance to the lobby.

There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

If you walk along the beach, you can reach the nearby Avani+ restaurant.

The hotel also offers various activities, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway.
