🌸Wat Yai Suwannaram Worawihan is an ancient royal temple in Phetchaburi, renowned for its historical and artistic significance. Built in the late Ayutthaya period, it stands out for its murals inside the ubosot (ordination hall), believed to be over 300 years old. Although the colors have faded with time, the sermon hall remains beautiful and valuable. The temple also houses the Sala Kan Parian, once the residence of King Suea, and Cham axe marks on the doors, said to be traces of past battles. This makes this temple a must-see for those interested in studying history and Buddhist art.
