Drive to Huai'an and check in at Huai'an Prefecture, one of the only two ancient local prefectures in the country with a complete layout and existing main buildings. Huai'an Prefecture was the center of the old Huai'an city. Although it was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt by Yao Bin, the prefect of that year, on the basis of the Yitai Wanhu Prefecture of the Yuan Dynasty and the remaining Wutong Temple of the Southern Song Dynasty. The scale is huge. The building does not use glazed tiles, but uses the common gray pottery tiles in residential buildings, which looks solemn and steady at a glance.

The existing relics mainly include the main hall, the second hall, the west warehouse and some east and west side rooms. The overall is very worth seeing, like a small exhibition hall, popularizing a lot of knowledge about the functions of the Ming and Qing prefectures.
