Hualien Taroko Jiuqudong Trail｜The most essential section of Taroko Gorge

The second day of the trip to Taroko in Hualien

The trail is 700 meters long and needs to be returned

Jiuqudong Trail was originally the old road of Central Cross-Island Highway
The old highway was converted into a walking trail

The early Central Cross-Island Highway is preserved in the trail
Tunnels and mountain walls with exposed raw stones
It can be seen that the original construction methods and traces of the highway were built at that time.
