📍Currently, all trails in the entire Taroko National Park have been temporarily closed. Whether you want to walk the Shakadang, Yanzikou, Jiuqudong or Baiyang trails, they are all closed and prohibited from entering!

We tested the scene, from the Taroko archway all the way to Tianxiang, and saw that almost every corner was a red strip + "No Passing" sign, as shown below👇

🚧 Traffic is also restricted | Taroko + Tianxiang checkpoints "Traffic Control"!

📷Recommended spots to stop and take photos along the way

Even if you can't enter the trail, you can still "view from a distance + take photos and check in" at these places:

1️⃣ Taroko Archway (National Park entrance sign)

2️⃣ Yanzikou Observation Deck (you can't walk on the trail, but you can drive to view the canyon from a distance)

3️⃣ Tianxiang District Parking Lot, stop for a while & have some snacks

📍Xiangde Temple Information (the only place to stay and watch)

🛕 Location: Tianxiang Road, Xiulin Township, Hualien County (near Tianxiang Visitor Center, within walking distance)

🅿️ Parking: You can park nearby, but pay attention to the release time due to traffic control

💰 Tickets: Free

📷 Recommended photos:

The angle of looking back on the mountain road can capture the Guanyin statue + mountain scenery together
If the weather is good, the background will become a blue and white gradient sky + sea of clouds, which looks like a postcard!

Talking
I heard from locals that Taroko needs at least 20 years of rest. 🙏🏻
It's not that Taroko is not beautiful, it's that you really can't go in now.
Everyone is waiting for it to come back. Safety first, now just take some photos as a souvenir, and then look forward to the complete guide in the future.
