trying to spot swallows in Taroko Gorge

The Yanzikou (Swallow Grotto) trail is about a half kilometre long, starting from the entrance to Swallow Grotto to the Jinheng Bridge. We enjoyed walking along the Liwu River which forms its own trail below us. The river carved some high cliffs and there are many natural holes in the cliff walls that were used by swallows as the sites of their nests. We saw some flying creatures but could not confirm if they were swallows or not.

indeed a very beautiful scenery with the river below, steep cliffs and caves. do visit if you are visiting Taroko Gorge.
