Hualien Secret Beach Camping Picnic

Happy New Year! Today I would like to share with you the charming secret beach in Hualien and enjoy the camping picnic afternoon tea arranged by Silks Place Taroko. In addition to the delicious food, we also played on the beach for a whole afternoon and had a great time.

As soon as we landed the plane, we took the hotel's special car to this super beautiful secret beach. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel's Jackie and dog sister. It was so chill to enjoy this rich afternoon tea while appreciating the beautiful scenery of Qingshui Cliff.

We had afternoon tea under the spacious and comfortable vinyl tent of Silks Place Taroko X Outdoorbase Internet Beauty Camping Picnic. The solid and spacious tent made our meal very comfortable and carefree.

The hotel was even more thoughtful in arranging sunscreen and mosquito repellent products for us, and definitely didn’t ask us to feed mosquitoes, which was very attentive.

The hard-working food team cooked delicious food for us outdoors that day. In addition to the food, we also had hand-brewed coffee, which was a great treat.

After drinking some champagne, everyone can soon enjoy this rich afternoon tea.

Before we start, let's have a refreshing drink to whet our appetite.

The colorful savory snacks include grilled chicken with shallots and purple potato burgers, mackerel, matsutake mushrooms, bacon skewers with tender mountain basil, seafood rice balls, lemon scallop and shrimp salad, and two-color mango and fresh vegetable noodle salad. The package includes wraps, rice, and noodles, which will definitely fill everyone up.

The desserts included three-color handmade dried fruits, mulberry berry macarons, pineapple macarons and passion mango cheesecake, all of which were very much to my liking. I was so happy.

Be the first to try this super fresh lemon scallop and shrimp salad! The chef fried the prawns and scallops on the spot, which were fresh and chewy, and accompanied by the crispy and tender salad. It was such a happy start.

Next, there were the fragrant shallot roast chicken and purple potato burgers, the uniquely flavored Magao matsutake mushroom bacon skewers with tender mountain basil, the sea rice balls full of the aroma of sea water, and finally the chewy two-color mango and fresh vegetable noodle salad. Each of the savory dishes was also very fresh and delicious and I was very satisfied after eating them.

The homemade three-color handmade dried fruits taste authentic and super healthy. The mulberry berry macarons are crispy, sweet but not greasy. The Macao pineapple cakes full of indigenous flavor are very fluffy. Finally, there is the smooth passion fruit mango cheesecake to end with, which is very satisfying.

We still have a lot of shows to do after we eat! First of all, there is this staircase that is perfect for checking in. No matter people or dogs, it is so beautiful to take photos on the towering stairs.

There were also very talented photographers on site to help take the photos, and with just two simple props they were able to capture beautiful photos of this mirror in the sky.

There are also dream bubbles that I never imagined I would be able to play with. It feels so young to be able to play with bubbles freely on the beach, haha.

Finally, the most special surprise this time was the self-driving beach buggy. The girl was so cool that she jumped on the beach buggy first and took the seat. I was not willing to be left behind and jumped on the car and quickly got started riding on the beach.

There was a sweet scene when we left. It was so romantic when the driver took me to the place where I would pick up the tour bus!

It was our first time in Hualien and we encountered such a wonderful lunch time, which really left a deep impression and was unforgettable.
