• By Car:
Starting from Hualien City, head north along Provincial Highway 9, then turn onto Coastal Road. The drive takes approximately 15 minutes.
• Public Transport:
Take the Taiwan Railways to Hualien Station. After exiting, you can take a taxi or board the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Taroko Line (Route 310) to "Qixingtan Station," which takes about 20 minutes.

📝 Personal Experience
Qixingtan Scenic Area, located in Xincheng Township, Hualien County, is the only county-level scenic area in Hualien, also known as "Crescent Bay." This area features a fault-formed strait and a beautiful curved bay. The sea is crystal clear and blue, with shimmering black stones. From here, you can enjoy a distant view of the Qingshui Cliffs and, at night, admire the lights of Xincheng and Chongde areas.
The coastal bike path stretches 21 kilometers from Nanbin Park in Hualien City, passing through Hualien Port and Si Ba Highland, all the way to Qixingtan Scenic Area, showcasing diverse scenery along the way.
At Qixingtan, you can experience the fun of stacking stones, marvel at the magnificent sunrise and starry skies, and feel the soothing sea breeze. Additionally, nearby attractions include Wild Pasture, Meilun Black Tea, and Single Malt Squid Vermicelli, offering delightful culinary experiences to enrich your journey.
