A new choice for summer vacation during the Dragon Boat Festival: a visit to the secret areas of Hualien Sanzhan River and the Buladan Tribe

While everyone was still queuing up for dragon boat racing and eating rice dumplings, I chose to hide in the secret valley of Hualien for a summer vacation and a relaxing Dragon Boat Festival trip. Sanzhan River is famous for its clear water and is one of the most healing wild streams on the east coast of Hualien. Walking along the mountain path, there are lush green forests on one side and clear blue streams on the other. It is very comfortable to step on the round stones and play in the water to cool off!

We also visited the Buladan Tribe, a traditional settlement of the Taroko people that still retains its pristine nature and tribal culture. Walking on the wooden plank road in the mountains, you can hear birds singing and gurgling water from time to time. It is the best place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

No need to travel by boat or crowd with people, during this Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I can have a refreshing and unique holiday memory among the mountains and streams of Hualien!
