Hualien-Emerald Valley

Stepping into Jade Valley feels like entering a natural water park surrounded by lush greenery. From the tunnel at Tongmen Bridge, you are instantly transported to a refreshing world of waterfalls and deep pools. It takes only about a ten-minute walk to reach the crystal-clear stream and the stunning waterfall curtain, which resemble a paradise.
The waterfall curtain here is the most popular photo spot, perfect for water play or light river tracing. Before entering the water, remember to wear non-slip shoes and bring a flashlight, as the tunnel is dark and the ground uneven.
Despite its growing popularity, Jade Valley retains its pristine beauty. The clear waters from the Papaya Creek contrast sharply with the surrounding indigenous protected areas. Whether you dip your feet into the icy stream or embark on a refreshing summer adventure close to nature, this spot offers an unforgettable experience.
