Located in Hualien City, Fu'an Temple is the largest Tudigong temple in the east. Its history can be traced back to the 10th year of the Taisho era (about 1921). At first, there was only a small clay statue of Tudigong. Later, local believers raised funds to build the temple, and added the three ancient kings and the Five Grains Emperor, gradually developing into the magnificent Fu'an Temple today.

The most eye-catching thing in the temple is the 37-foot (about 11.3 meters) tall sitting Tudigong statue, which was once the largest sitting Tudigong in Taiwan. It has become one of the landmarks of Hualien City and attracts countless believers and tourists to make pilgrimages.

The main hall of the temple adopts a three-in-one six-story layout. The main hall is dedicated to Tudigong, and other floors are dedicated to Manjusri Bodhisattva, Medicine Buddha, Jade Emperor, etc. The colorful paintings, camphor wood carved beams and brackets on each floor are delicate and magnificent. There is also a century-old camphor tree in front of the temple with a history of more than 100 years, bringing a touch of quiet greenery to this city.
