Hualien｜Local Favorite Spot for a Seaside Stroll: Beibin Park

If you ask Hualien locals where the best place is for a casual stroll and to enjoy the sea breeze, many would immediately recommend Beibin Park. Unlike the bustling tourist hub of Qixingtan or the crowded harbor area, Beibin Park is a serene and relaxing coastal green space. The seaside trail stretches out, making it perfect for a morning jog, an afternoon sunbathe, or watching the sunset in the evening—all while soaking in the leisurely pace of life. 🌊

The park features pavilions and grassy areas where you can sit and gaze at the ocean, as well as playgrounds for children, making it an ideal spot for locals to unwind. Gazing at the vast blue Pacific Ocean and listening to the waves crashing against the shore can truly help you relax. For me, this place lacks the overly touristy vibe but offers the most authentic glimpse into Hualien's everyday life.
