Homemade Roasted Chicken Leg (Set) $330
Old-Fashioned Black Tea $60
I had originally planned to go to another branch, but since I was nearby, I decided to stop in for lunch.
The restaurant is located on a corner with street parking nearby. During weekday lunchtime, there are two or three tables full of diners, and dogs are welcome to dine, making it a pet-friendly restaurant.
The restaurant is very clean, and the seating areas are mostly by the windows, so it's not too hot, though the seats are not very comfortable. The staff are very polite and provide a brief introduction to the menu. After you sign up, you pay at the counter. Meals are made to order, so you'll have to wait a while.
The Homemade Roasted Chicken Leg Set includes the roasted chicken leg and rice, as well as side dishes like a poached egg, a daily soup, fruit (watermelon and dragon fruit this time), some vegetables, and even a shrimp. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the shrimp, otherwise it would have looked quite large.
The grilled chicken thighs were delicious, perfectly grilled, tender and juicy, while the skin was a bit salty. The vegetables were also quite fresh, but the seasoning was lacking. The two fruits were simple and not overly sweet. The traditional black tea was okay, but drinks are not included with the set menu; they must be ordered separately.
