#September Good Places 2025
Hualien has always been the most quiet back garden in Taiwan. This time we came to the Shakadang Trail in Xiulin Township. It is definitely a natural feast that hiking enthusiasts cannot miss! The Sarawak Trail is best known for the blue and green streams between the canyons and the layered, painting-like rock wall textures. Coinciding with the autumn visit, the trail is occasionally decorated with red leaves, with the slightly cool autumn breeze, walking in it is really refreshing, all the way feel particularly light steps ~
🌿Shakadang Trail Highlights Recommendation
Located in Taroko National Park, the Shakaji Trail is about 4.1 kilometers long and is relatively gentle and easy to walk, making it ideal for parents or beginners. The biggest selling point must be that this trail follows the stream all the way through the canyon. In some sections, the stream is crystal clear, flashing blue and green, and the rock wall is delicately textured, as if stepping into an autumn nature art exhibition. Along the way, you can slowly enjoy the fallen leaves and mountain views, feeling the tranquility and leisure.
