Chicken Leg Rice $125
Pork Chop (A la carte) $70
Stopped by for lunch while passing through the area. After circling around a bit, I found a parking spot—what a delight! Around lunchtime on a weekday, there was a steady stream of customers ordering takeout, while dine-in patrons were relatively fewer.
The wall not only displays the menu and prices but also explains how to order. First, choose dine-in or takeout. Dine-in allows you to pick 4 side dishes, while takeout lets you choose 5. Of course, you can add any extra dishes you like for an additional $10 per dish.
The side dishes at the ordering counter all looked quite appealing. This time, I ordered the chicken leg rice and selected four favorite side dishes. At checkout, I remembered this place is famous for its pork chops, so I had to add one, right?
The dine-in seating area was quite cool and comfortable, and there was a daily soup available for self-service. After finishing the meal, you need to clear your tray at the designated recycling area.
Each side dish was flavorful, and the portions were generous. The fried chicken leg, however, wasn’t very juicy; the meat was a bit dry. In comparison, the pork chop was indeed the star. It wasn’t too thin, slightly greasy, and had a rich flavor that paired surprisingly well with rice.
