Suitable for: In a B&B in Yunshanshui, you can see the Yunshanshui Lake by opening the window. It is very suitable for travelers, couples, small families, and elders who want to relax on vacation and get in touch with the natural environment.

⭐️Cleanliness: 8/10
The room was clean overall, the bed, toilet, sofa and bathtub were all clean. The only problem is that when washing your face or taking a shower, it takes a very long time to wash off the shower gel or facial cleanser on your body, and it feels like it can't be washed clean. It may be that the water quality there is different, which makes us feel quite troubled.

⭐️Equipment & Environment: 8/10
There weren't too many issues with the equipment, and the room was very comfortable and large. Although the sun heated up the room, the curtains were well closed so it didn't have much of an impact. There is an old cabinet with a TV inside. The door of the cabinet is a bit difficult to use. It seems that many people have damaged it, so it is a bit stuck when opening or closing. The room also had a nice balcony where my husband and I tried to sit and have a drink while looking at the lake, but we were attacked by gnats and mosquitoes in less than 5 minutes, so we ended up moving indoors. In fact, sitting on the sofa outside is quite comfortable and relaxing, but the small black mosquitoes in Yunshanshui are really scary.

⭐️Breakfast: 7.5/10
The cloud egg for breakfast surprised me. The egg whites were beaten and then fried, which seemed to be a very thoughtful design, but it tasted just fine. There weren't many food choices, but the pumpkin soup I had before made me quite full.

⭐️Service: 6.5/10
Overall, I didn't feel that there was much service. When I stayed in B&Bs before, most owners would enthusiastically introduce their B&Bs or chat with tourists, but I didn't feel that here. There was mosquito repellent spray outside the door, which I felt was quite considerate, although we were still bitten all over. There are no bicycle rental services here. Overall, we are not very satisfied with the service at this price.

⭐Overall:
88 villa is one of the homestays in Yunshanshui. Overall, I think it is quite good. The room is very relaxing and allows you to stay in the room all day long. The scenery is also beautiful, and you can enter all the attractions in Yunshanshui for free. (But we didn’t finish the walk as we were discouraged by the black mosquitoes. 😂😂) There are quite a few homestays in Yunshanshui. My husband once stayed at a homestay called Pugengyuan. We originally wanted to stay there, but it was no longer available at that time, so we booked 88villa. Surprisingly, my husband actually prefers the room at 88villa because it is bigger, more comfortable and cleaner. However, the owner of the B&B at Park Garden is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. In addition, the mosquito repellent my husband sprayed there before really prevented him from being bitten by the small black mosquitoes. If there is a next time, we might want to try other B&Bs! (For example: there is a bear forest villa, where you can rent bicycles, etc. It is also very close to the Yunshanshui Lake. If you have a chance, you can go and try it and tell us.) But in the next few years, I probably won’t go to Yunshanshui to be bitten by black mosquitoes, as it has almost become a black mosquito paradise! #Good place for families #Hualien accommodation #Hualien travel
