Awed at Managed waterway ,Again.

#100waysoftravel.Huanglongsi is well known for its hugely- retained ancient houses, century old trees, temples,magistrate court, and aura of old ancient town . Best so far that I have seen .A brook runs along the town area , almost 25 minutes walk long. Both sides of the brook is flanked by old Qing houses , still rustic and standing . From the map, water is conduit into this across- town brook from the Big Huanglong River. This brook gave an idylic feel to the commercial area of flanking shops , so pretty , so nice . It even serves a mill or 2 along the stream . Another man created water systems ? For how many centuries has it been . I beam with respect once again to brains of an olden era .
