Tangmo Village, Huangshan

Located in Huangshan, Tangmo Village was built in the Tang dynasty, developed in the Song and Yuan dynasties, and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Legend has it that the village was known as the "Model Village of the Tang Dynasty" for its active economy and simple folk customs. Like Tachuan, Nanping, Xidi, Hongcun, Chengkan, and other ancient villages, Tangmo Village is known for its harmonious integration with nature. The village is surrounded by idyllic scenery, ancient pavilions, streets, and bridges, green mountains, and clear waters. The white walls and black tiles of the Huizhou-style buildings create a peaceful and auspicious atmosphere. Tangmo Village is also known for its unique charm and style. The village is home to three Hanlin scholars, Huizhou-style covered bridges, Shuikou Garden, a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, and Xiaozhi West Lake, all of which have their own stories and aesthetic value.
