However, climbing Mount Huangshan requires good leg strength, but if you walk the whole way, your legs will be exhausted. Haojia has set up four ropeways #cable cars in Huangshan, which greatly reduces the climbing time. During this 3-day, 2-night trip to Huangshan, we took two of the cable cars, namely the #Yuping Cableway in the front mountain and the #Taiping Cableway in the Xihai Scenic Area.

Day-1: Huangshan Gate - Ciguang Pavilion - Yuping Cableway - Yuping Tower (stay overnight)
Day-2: Yuping Tower - Tianhai - Guangmingding - Beihai - Xihai - Shilin (stay overnight)
Day-3: Shilin-Songlin Peak-Taiping Cableway-Songgu Temple-Furong Town

The Yuping Tower Cableway is the highlight of Huangshan Mountain, spanning the two major scenic areas of Hot Springs and Yuping, and famous attractions such as the Welcoming Pine and Zhusha Peak. Although it is only 8 minutes, it would take 3 hours if you walk!

The West Sea Scenic Area of ​​the Taiping Cableway is another selling point. You can overlook Guangmingding in the distance and Jiulong Peak nearby. Looking up, you can see the sea of ​​clouds and fog. The scenery is magnificent. As for the Yungu Cableway, which was built the earliest, I didn’t take it because the route was not smooth.
