🐉 Nine Dragon Waterfall

✨This glorious 2 hour round trip hike is well worth the steps! 🥾Just stunning! One of my favourite waterfalls in China so dar!

The first 30 mins or so you follow the river trail upwards. 🚶‍♀️There is a small old temple ⛩and then a bigger more impressive one where you can donate for coins and put into various bowls for offerings. It’s newly built/renovated.
There is an obstacle course (198 for 22 obstacles – 98 for 11) you can do which is slightly obstructive to the river views on your way up but when you reach the big waterfalls it’s views for days! 🤩

Would highly recommend taking the stairs on the left of the first big waterfall – 🥾this will lead you to the “first waterfall” which is out of this world. 😍There are three waterfalls up top – a long bench to sit and admire and a small pagoda area to sit under if it’s raining with views. 🏞

🚙This is about a 5 mins drive from the South Gate to Mount Huangshan South Gate. Plenty of hotels nearby to stay – I would recommend my wonderful hotel called HuangShan YiYunShanJu as it’s only a 5 mins drive from here.
