Huizhou is a place with charming bays, among which Shuangyue Bay, Xunliao Bay and Xiaojing Bay are the most famous. The three bays are not far apart, and the drive only takes 40-50 minutes, so tourists can choose the most suitable attraction according to their personal preferences and enjoy a relaxing vacation.

In September, Huizhou entered the off-season for tourism, with fewer people, so the beach was no longer crowded. In this season, I spent three days on a trip with my friends, which cost a total of 1,500 yuan. It was very cost-effective and I highly recommend it to all sisters!

However, the weather at the coast can be unpredictable and although the forecast called for two days of rain, we were lucky enough to enjoy consecutive sunny days. Nevertheless, sun protection measures should not be ignored because the ultraviolet rays there are extremely strong. I wore the tank top for just two hours and my skin tone darkened five shades!

When I visited Huizhou for the first time, I chose Xunliao Bay. Most of the attractions here are open to the public free of charge, and the prices are more affordable than in Shuangyue Bay. At the same time, the entertainment activities provided are also richer than in Xiaojing Bay. Self-driving is the best option, as public transportation is infrequent and waiting is inconvenient.

The sea-hunting experience in Xunliao Bay is unforgettable. From the sea-hunting beach to the Blue Bay Beach, to the Lover's Beach and Cheung Sha Wan Beach, each one has its own characteristics. Be sure to check the tide tables to ensure you don’t miss the best time to go fishing.

When it comes to accommodation, a sea view room is the best choice. It allows you to see the beautiful sea view as soon as you open your eyes, instantly enhancing your sense of happiness. It is recommended to refer to other tourists' reviews instead of just looking at pictures. Xunliao Bay has a variety of accommodation options and relatively reasonable prices. The Sheraton Danga Bay Hotel where I stayed has complete swimming pool, lawn and beach facilities, and is strategically located with convenient transportation.

In addition, there are some little-known white sand beaches in Xunliao Bay. One of the beaches I discovered by chance was breathtakingly beautiful. The reefs, fine sand and clear sea water formed a beautiful picture. There were hammocks under the pine trees on the beach. In the evening, you could see people carrying buckets to catch seafood.

As for dining, there are more options near the Financial Street, and there are also many street vendors soliciting customers. It is recommended to read more reviews, mainly focusing on seafood and Cantonese cuisine. As for taking a boat, it is recommended to go directly to the pier to find a regular boat and avoid the trap of soliciting customers on the roadside.

In terms of attractions, the beach is vast and small hermit crabs can be seen everywhere. The Rose Hall is not recommended because it is closed on weekends and the glass is a bit dirty, which affects the photo effect. Kokakura is located opposite the Jiu Ming Island Sea and is a good navigation point. Lingnan Study is suitable for family outings, offering cultural experiences such as intangible cultural heritage rubbings, movable type printing and lacquer fans. It is a good place to take the kids out for a walk at noon to avoid the scorching sun.

Finally, Delta Island is so beautiful on a sunny day that it feels like being abroad. The reef landscape of Mozishi Park is very suitable for taking photos.
