Wandering Through Huinan: The Green Heart of Jilin

Huinan County, located north of Tonghua City in Jilin Province, is a land blessed by nature. Surrounded by rolling mountains and winding rivers, with four distinct seasons and a pleasant climate, Huinan is the gateway to the famous Changbai Mountains and an ideal place to experience the authentic countryside of Northeast China.

In the early morning, I strolled through the streets of Chaoyang Town. The air was fresh, and old elm trees swayed gently in the breeze. The market was lively, with vendors calling out their goods, painting a vivid picture of rural life.

In the afternoon, I drove to Sanjiaolong Bay. The crystal-clear lake was embraced by mountains shrouded in mist, like a fairyland. Visitors walked along the lakeside paths, taking photos and enjoying the gift of nature.

At sunset, I arrived at Shimen Mountain National Forest Park. The forest was dense and rich with wildlife. From the summit, I looked out over Tonghua city as the golden sun cast a warm glow on the land, creating a poetic scene.

Huinan is not only known for its beautiful landscapes but also for its rich local produce. Huinan rice is famous for its large grains and sweet flavor, a proud product of the local farmers. Walking along country roads, I saw farmers working happily in the fields, their faces glowing with the joy of harvest.

As night fell, I returned to Chaoyang Town, where the streetlights lit up the peaceful evening. The calmness here felt like time itself was slowing down.

Huinan, this land loved by nature, gave me a peaceful and pure holiday. Here, I felt the warmth of rural life, the gifts of nature, and found a long-lost sense of calm and serenity.
