🧡 5 must-visit spots in Liyang
1️⃣ Tianmu Lake Landscape Park
One of Liyang’s 5A scenic spots, composed of several islands and lakes. Overlooking the entire Tianmu Lake looks like a piece of jade or emerald left in the world. Perfect for summer cooling and playing in the water with kids without any burden～
2️⃣ Liyang Museum
I was “tricked” by online photos❗️ But it turned out to be the most successful trend-following visit❗️ The photos really look like they were taken abroad❗️ Here you can learn about Liyang’s thousand-year history, and the exhibition hall has many precious collections. Note it is closed on Mondays ⚠️
3️⃣ Nanshan Bamboo Sea
One of Liyang’s 5A scenic spots. In summer, take the little train straight out of a Miyazaki film through the deep mountain bamboo forest. The whole area is very large and very cool, and if you’re lucky, you might even see a giant panda❗️
4️⃣ Shenxi Jia Village
An original ecological small village next to Nanshan Bamboo Sea, with a babbling stream running through the whole village. You can stroll with kids under the shade and play in the water to enjoy this cool moment. The village has good infrastructure with cafes, restaurants, and homestays…
5️⃣ Zheli Yicang
The first floor is a study and coffee shop, the second floor is an art exhibition, with many interesting local cultural creations. You can also get a free stamp 🆓. I brought back a few fridge magnets as gifts for friends～

🧡 About transportation
1️⃣ For friends from Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai, I highly recommend self-driving
2️⃣ You can also take the high-speed train to Liyang Station 🚄 and then rent a car or use ride-hailing to get to the scenic spots (taxis here are not expensive ✅)

📌 Useful tips:
Liyang’s attractions are quite spread out. We used the official Liyang cultural tourism mini app 🍊 [Sometimes Liyang], booked homestays and attraction tickets in advance,
and planned our travel routes based on the locations of the scenic spots. For me, this app was a big help on this trip‼️
