Guide to Guoliang Village (Cliff Road) and Nanping Scenic Area
🌈Transportation: Take a high-speed rail to Xinxiang East Station, then rent a car online and drive for 1.5 hours to reach the "Wanshan Mountain Scenic Area Visitor Center". Parking is CNY10 per day.
1. Guoliang Village (Cliff Road) Route: Take the scenic area bus from the Visitor Center (included in the ticket price) for about 15 minutes to the entrance of the "Cliff Corridor" (green route in Figure 11). Start exploring the "Cliff Corridor", which is about 1,200 meters long and takes about 30 minutes to walk. The exit is Guoliang Village. At this point, there are two routes to choose from:
① One is Guoliang Village Entrance--2km--Fortress--1km--Cliff Stairway; ② One is Guoliang Village--1km--Observation Deck. I chose route ②, which takes about 30 minutes.
🌈 After exploring Guoliang Village, you can walk back to the entrance of the "Cliff Corridor" and take the scenic area bus (included in the ticket price) to Nanping. If you don't want to walk back, you can take the scenic area bus from the "Observation Deck" to Nanping for CNY30.
2. Nanping Scenic Area: Enjoy the mountain and water scenery, two routes to choose from:
① Hiking: Nanping Scenic Area Entrance--1.5km--Black Dragon Pool Waterfall--1km--Danfen. This hiking route is relatively flat in the first half and steeper in the second half, but it doesn't feel tiring overall.
② Take the scenic area bus (CNY30): Take the scenic area bus directly from the entrance of Nanping Scenic Area to the entrance of "Danfen", which takes about 15-20 minutes. Start exploring the downhill route.
3. Food and drink: There are many farmhouses and guesthouses in Guoliang Village, where you can eat and stay.
