The fireworks of Hulunbuir Ancient City

Hailar Ancient City, also known as Lunbuir Ancient City, is located around Zhengyang Street in Hailar District, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This ancient city was built by the Qing government to defend the northern border following the Treaty of Nerchinsk. It has now been largely rebuilt.

It is now a tourist attraction offering sightseeing, leisure, shopping, dining, and accommodation. Here, you can admire the quaint architecture and rich historical atmosphere, and sample local delicacies.

We arrived at the ancient city at night. In the square, local residents were performing dances, both for performances and for daily practice. The streets were bustling with street vendors and barbecue restaurants.
