Huma County is located in the Daxinganling region of Heilongjiang Province, at the eastern foot of the Daxinganling Mountains, on the southwest bank of the upper reaches of the Heilongjiang River. The west and north are adjacent to Xinlin District and Tahe County, the south is adjacent to Aihui District, Heihe City, and Nenjiang City, and the east is across the river from Shimanovsk City, Russia, Svobodny City, and Magdagachi District. The border with Russia is 371 kilometers long, accounting for nearly half of the total length of the Daxinganling region's border with Russia, and it is also the county with the longest border with Russia in Heilongjiang Province. The county government is located in Huma Town, which was approved by the State Council of China in May 1993 as a national first-class port open to the outside world. It is the only administrative county in the Daxinganling region that is mainly agricultural. Famous specialties include fungus, mushrooms, Hericium erinaceus, and blueberries. Huma County, Huma Town, was built along the Heilongjiang River. The Riverside Park is located on the east side of Huma Town, facing Russia across the river. The park was built in 1998 and has become a comprehensive park integrating fitness square area, twelve zodiac statue area, fitness trail area, outdoor cage standard lighting basketball court, cs shooting battle area, barbecue area, landscape pavilion rest area, flower area, garden scenic area and other areas. It has become a very eye-catching building in the park.
