🏜️Visit the isolated Bedouin village by car in the Sahara Desert⛺

Today felt like a movie. It was my first time racing through the desert in a four-wheel drive vehicle, careening and slamming. There was no telling when the brakes would hit, or when the wobbling car would finally stop. It kept bumping here, then there, and there was no telling which direction it would hit from. I felt like I was about to be thrown out of my seat. 🤣🤣 The desert wind was incredibly strong, it really stung my eyes. 🫣 Middle Eastern music played in the car, allowing us to leisurely enjoy the music while we raced. 🩷🤣

Traveling in the Sahara Desert, the world's largest, I had to pack some real sand to take back home as a souvenir. 🤭🤭🤗🤗
In the Sahara Desert in northeastern Africa, I encountered a people called the Bedouin. "Bedouin" means "desert dwellers" in Arabic.

After sandboarding, we drove directly to the Bedouin village in a 4WD vehicle. While the locals don't like outsiders entering their homes, other areas are open to visitors. The residents were very friendly. Today, the tribe relies on tourism for its livelihood, and many foreign tourists come here for camel rides.

The most frightening moments of the camel ride are when the camel first stands up and then sits down, as it tilts dramatically. 😁😆🤣

They still sell their distinctive bags and carpets made from wool and camel hair at the market. They're very practical, and the hair is incredibly thick and warm. ❗

Finally, we arrived at the village's lifeblood: the well. 🫧💧 The Bedouin are nomadic, relying on a water source for survival. This well was dug by their ancestors, relentlessly, with their hands and shovels, without the use of modern tools. Once the water source runs out, they move on to the next one.

This well is spectacular, nestled in the village like a meteorite crater. It's hard to imagine how their ancestors dug it using traditional tools.
