A glowing waterfall at night: Seljalandsfoss

After leaving the Golden Circle, although this area is less touristy, there are still plenty of accommodation options. This time, I want to introduce Boutique Hotel Anna, where you can see up to 10 waterfalls in one go. The room size is reasonable, but the bathroom is ridiculously small 😆.

There aren’t many dining options nearby, so I usually eat at the hotel restaurant. The food there is excellent, especially the mussels. Among all the restaurants I’ve tried, this is the only one that serves mussels, so of course, I had to order them. The steak is tender, and I can never finish the fries 🫣.

Back to the waterfalls—there are over a dozen waterfalls in the area surrounding this hotel, including several famous ones. The main reason for choosing this hotel is definitely its location. 👍🏻

As for the waterfall on the cover photo, it glows at night. At first, I thought it was illuminated by lights, but when I visited during the day, I realized there were only ground lights and no other lighting equipment. It’s truly magical 🙀.

Regarding Skogafoss, if you have time, make sure to climb up the mountain. There are six or seven stunning waterfalls up there.
