Early in the morning, I came to the Church of Light in Ibaraki City, Osaka. This building, designed by the architect Tadao Ando, ​​is famous for its minimalist style and use of light and shadow. After entering the church, one is greeted by an extreme tranquility. The exposed concrete walls and the natural light in the room blend together to create an indescribable sense of sacredness. In particular, the cross outlined by light on the front wall is simple yet powerful and deeply touching. In the afternoon, I sat quietly in the church, feeling the flow of light and shadow in the space, and my mind became clear and pure.
