A Day Trip to Ibusuki

When visiting Kagoshima, you can take the unique train 🚄 "Kuroshiro Rangu" to enjoy a day trip to Ibusuki. Relish the scenic views of mountains and the sea along the way. Interestingly, the Japanese pronunciation of Ibusuki sounds like the Pokémon Eevee. Once you arrive in Ibusuki, follow the bus route to explore the attractions. Start with Ryugu Shrine and then head to the southernmost JR station for a photo op. Although you’ll need to walk a short distance along the countryside paths, the stroll is quite pleasant. Unfortunately, due to limited time, I couldn’t experience the famous sand baths.
