To make your visit more than just "beautiful!", we've compiled some practical tips for you to use while you're there. ✍️

🕖 Best Time to Visit
• Early morning (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM) is recommended!
✔️ The parking lot fills up quickly, so get there first thing in the morning.
✔️ The calm lake surface reflects the mountains like a mirror.
The "upside-down Rockies" can only be seen in the morning.

🚗 Access Tips
・Lake Louise parking lot fills up quickly.
This is especially difficult in the summer.
👉 For peace of mind, it's best to book the public shuttle bus (Parks Canada Shuttle) in advance.
・Private car access restrictions have been put into place on Moraine Lake.
・Make sure to use the shuttle or tour.

・Lake Louise: The view from in front of the Fairmont Hotel is the best. (Photo 4)
Putting a canoe in makes for a picturesque view. 📸
・Moraine Lake: Climb the rockpile (a large rock formation) and you'll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the emerald-blue lake and the Ten Peaks. (Photos 3, 5, and 8)

⛺ Activity Tips
・Canoeing: It's a completely different world from the lake.
It's popular, so do it in the morning.
・Hiking:
For a lighter hike, try the Lake Louise Shore Trail (1 hour).
For a more serious hike, try the Plain of Six Glaciers.

🎒 What to Pack

✔️ Warm clothing (it gets chilly in the mornings and evenings, even in midsummer).
✔️ Sunglasses (highly reflective).
✔️ Water bottle and snacks (prices are higher in the surrounding area).
I brought bananas and nuts! ✔️ It's a good idea to bring insect repellent to Moraine Lake.

・If you're planning on visiting both, try to do it in the morning.
・Be sure to check access and book a shuttle in advance.
・The morning view of the lake and the view from the rock pile are a must-see.
