If you're tired of the overabundance of Yoshino cherries everywhere, then experience a different kind of cherry blossom!

📍Located at Takato Castle Ruins Park in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture, the star here is the Takato Shōbiran Cherry 🌸
It’s a variety unique to Ina City, and unlike the common Yoshino cherry,
✔️ The flowers are smaller
✔️ The petals are more pink
✔️ From a distance, it’s not a sea of white, but a soft pale pink hue, especially in the evening when the sunset casts a dreamy filter, resembling the cherry blossoms from anime 💗🌅

What’s interesting is that its light pink tone is not as deep as the Kawazu cherry, nor as white as the Yoshino cherry—it’s the perfect balance, refreshing yet not overwhelming.

🎌 Although it’s not as well-known internationally, in Japan, it’s the second largest cherry blossom viewing spot after Hirosaki Park in Aomori!
