Hwagaesanseong (Local Historic Site No. 30) is a long, curved mountain and is considerably damaged except for the peak of the mountain. There is a beacon site on Yeonbong Peak, 50m northwest of the peak, which is said to have been used as a beacon since the Goryeo Dynasty. The lower stone walls of the beacon tower are still well preserved.
