The History of Incheon Jjajangmyeon! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ Incheon Chinese History Museum

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ The Incheon Overseas Chinese History Museum is Korea's first exhibition hall dedicated to the history and culture of the Chinese who settled in Incheon's Chinatown, which was established in 1884 when the Qing Dynasty established a concession.

๐Ÿฆ On the first floor, you'll find a miniature diorama depicting Chinatown. It recreates the scene of the Korea-China Cultural Festival, a tradition held annually in the Incheon Port area. This year, a two-day event, starting October 7th, featured traditional Chinese instrument busking, cultural experiences, and interactive activities.

๐Ÿœ The museum displays artifacts and related items that provide a glimpse into the lives of Chinese immigrants in Korea, with over 2,000 pieces of information related to the Chinese community. Just as jajangmyeon (Korean noodles) originated from the Chinese immigrants who settled in Incheon, the influence of the Chinese community in Korea is profound. It was a truly enriching experience to learn about their history.
